Top Cross
After completing the second layer the next desired goal is to create a cross on the Up face of the cube.
Match the state of the Up face with one of the states below and perform the appropriate algorithm.

Up Face
There are three cases which are of interest here. Where no corner is correctly oriented, where one corner is correctly oriented or where more than one is correctly oriented. If all corners are correctly oriented you can skip this step.
For any of these three cases orient the cubes as shown below.
Zero corners oriented |

Two or three corners oriented |

One yellow sticker at the top right corner of the Left face.

The solved corner held in the bottom left corner of the Up face.

One yellow sticker at the top left corner of the Front face.

After positioning the cube in the appropriate position perform the following algorithm. If this results in the top face being solved move on to the next step. Otherwise, reorient the cube so it matches one of the cases above and repeat. You will need to repeat this step at most 2 or 3 times.
